The Story Behind the Method
Chad E. Cooper is the founder of the SIRV Institute and creator of the SIRV Method, a principle-based leadership model designed for high-capacity professionals who want more than external success.
With a career spanning decades of elite performance coaching, Chad’s work has helped leaders, athletes, and advisors realign with purpose and lead from a place of grounded authority.
But this page isn’t just about Chad. It’s about a way of leading that transforms not only how you perform, but how you live.
The SIRV Method wasn’t born out of theory, it was forged in the field.
From coaching entrepreneurs navigating $100M exits to mentoring a client through 14 years of sustained peak performance (twice landing on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange), Chad has seen what happens when success isn’t rooted in significance.
Watching high achievers burn out, lose identity, or feel emotionally isolated, even at the top, led Chad to ask a deeper question:
What does it really mean to lead a life that’s whole?
Many leadership models focus on performance at the cost of the person. The SIRV Method challenges that. It was developed to support high-performing individuals through moments of pressure, identity loss, and personal reinvention, without sacrificing compassion.
The journey to SIRV wasn’t linear. It came from working in the trenches, with world champions like 13-time boxing titleholder Nonito Donaire and political advisors like Phillip who helped guide two successful U.S. presidential campaigns.
The common thread?
Each leader needed to come back to themselves.
Chad’s background combines high-level coaching, mentorship, and real-world leadership experience. His ability to come alongside clients (not over them) is what sets the SIRV Institute apart.
Whether it’s helping a founder reclaim their purpose, guiding a professional athlete through personal transition, or supporting a leadership team through reinvention, the SIRV Method equips individuals to lead from truth, not titles.
The SIRV Institute offers a structured path for leaders to reintegrate their heart, mind, and mission. Through one-on-one experiences, tools, and the proprietary SIRV Method framework, we help you:
Reconnect with your core values and leadership identity
Restore clarity and calm in the midst of high-pressure decisions
Build a life and legacy aligned with who you truly are
Reaching deeper than just your organization and use of time, this (Chad E Cooper’s) book reaches into the essence of all the things you do, and shows you how to make them richer and more fulfilling.
